J Bakshi, CPA Inc. was founded in British Columbia in January 2024 with a simple vision—to redefine the relationship between accountants and business owners.
After seeing too many businesses treated as just another client, we established our firm to provide a more personal, proactive, and impactful approach to accounting. We believe our role extends far beyond preparing financial statements and filing tax returns. Our goal is to help business owners make informed decisions, identify opportunities, and achieve long-term success.

Meet Jatin Bakshi
Jatin Bakshi is the Founder of J Bakshi, CPA Inc. With nearly a decade of international accounting and tax experience, he has helped businesses navigate complex tax, accounting, and regulatory challenges across multiple jurisdictions. After moving to Canada, he earned both his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, further strengthening his expertise in serving Canadian businesses.
Jatin has worked with small and medium-sized businesses across a wide range of industries, helping clients successfully navigate CRA audits and reduce proposed tax assessments, interest, and penalties. He has also worked extensively with companies preparing to list on Canadian stock exchanges, supporting them with financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and reverse takeovers (RTOs).
What sets Jatin apart is his belief that accounting is about more than compliance. He is passionate about educating and empowering business owners so they understand their finances, make informed decisions, and recognize how strong compliance contributes to long-term business success. Clients appreciate his friendly, approachable nature and his ability to explain complex tax and accounting matters in a clear and practical way.
Outside of work, Jatin enjoys travelling, playing cricket, and going on long drives with family and friends.
